The first event in the Santalan "Kulturfenster - Caring & Sharing" series took place in 2020. Doris Krummenacher opened the live exhibition and programme of side events on 8 August 2020 at the Haus am See in Unterägeri, together with Anna Leiser (curator and programme director of various charity projects) and Eva Bischofberger (representing Kinderprojekt Barca). Touched by the success stories of Kinderprojekt Barca, a project which aims to give children and young people with a mentally ill parent a chance to break out of the dependency cycle, we wanted to support it financially. At the end of the week-long event, we were able to say a huge thank-you to everyone who took part and donated ‒ and to transfer a sizeable sum to Kinderprojekt Barca.

We now want to revive the "Kulturfenster - Caring & Sharing" and build on this success. We plan to run Santalan as an association following its successful market launch. The target audience for the artworks are private individuals and companies who want to add a burst of colour and joy to their homes and lives. The next stage kicks off on 17 March 2023 – we hope you'll join us along the way.
